[Shi'Nynze (Carissa)] Why is a guard needed? No one wants to die young, but is it so horrible there others try to escape?

[Ilero]] (TMO) shakes his head again. "No. No no no. He kill. Tear t'ings apart, rip people up."

[Shi'Nynze (Carissa)] That's...unpleasant.

[Ilero]] (TMO) nods. "Yah, very."

[Master] take your silver spoon, dig your grave

Ilero (TMO)] And his tail...

[Indigo (Lisa)] Oh... it that why the Suomi make death masks so the can be in hiding?

Ilero (TMO)] (I'm making that up - I don't remember what their actual purpose is. If I'm stating it wrong then Ilero has misunderstood his childhood religious lessons)

[Master] perfectly good reason from both Indigo and from Ilero

[Master] those of the Suomi faith are afraid of dying alone

[Ilero]] (TMO) shrugs.

[Master] Most of the tales in the cannon of Suomi revolve around the conflict of good versus evil as personified in the lands of Kalevala and Phojola. Various sects and sermons will put forth which of these they are living in now and which they are trying to bring forth or back. Often the Priest of the Suomi feel they are above the rest of the populace and they are mostly respected and sometimes feared by their adherents. Priests rarely have any qualms about using their powers and spells to chastise those who do not show appropriate respect.

Ilero (TMO)] You dead. How good can it be?

[Indigo (Lisa)] Wait ... wait ...

[Indigo (Lisa)] So that was a really good vision!

[Master] Ceremonies - One of the key rites that sets the Suomi pantheon apart is the use of Death Masks. They believe that capturing the soul through a death mask done as close to the point of passage from this life to the next is key to remembering a person. All priests are trained to make these masks and others in the society also use their talents to create these masks. Even with a death in the deep wilderness a person's companions would hastily throw together a mud compress to capture the event if nothing else was available. This also leads to the slight quirk that adherents to the Suomi pantheon are loath to be alone for any significant time.

[Indigo (Lisa)] You saw the gates but your weren't supposed to be there!

[Ilero]] (TMO) fixes Indigo with a stare. "Hye. Supposed. To be. Dead."

Ilero (TMO)] Surma not like me.

[Indigo (Lisa)] No. If you were supposed to be dead he would have opened the gates for you

[Indigo (Lisa)] I think it was a very good vision

Shi'Nynze (Carissa) shrugs

Ilero (TMO)] ... Visions.

Shi'Nynze (Carissa) looks at Inndigo

[Ilero]] (TMO) sighs and just sags down like he's exhausted. He shrugs slightly and allows himself to be pulled up out of his chair.

[Shurkural]] (TMO) worriedly leads him by the hand out of the room.

Indigo (Lisa) looks at Penelope "I wasn't just saying that. I think it was a good vision even if he doesn't want to"

[Penelope (Master)] I do not know

[Penelope (Master)] You are right that it seems like a good vision

[Penelope (Master)] but it is different on this side again

Indigo (Lisa) looks at her worriedly

Indigo (Lisa) looks at Kel "Is it like that for you?"

[Shi'Nynze (Carissa)] He did not reach Aravaith. If he had, it'd be worse.

[Kel (MarioHome)] If I had, I wouldnt want to return, im sure

Shi'Nynze (Carissa) nods

[Indigo (Lisa)] I just thought I knew. For both of you.
