[Lara] i would think that it would be better at casting them than to have more, right?

[Lara] ok. e.g., only really good at maybe at feather fall but not teleportation?

[Master] some what but also it is based on if you are Specialised or just a Generalist

[Lara] again, i am thinking about what the team will most benefit from. i don't have to be a full blown transmuter, if the team needs a little bit of everything

[Master] you can move the Knowledge side UP to 14 but then that decreases the Reason side down to 10

[Master] Or you can go vice versa

[Lara] so the 12 means a 50% chance of learning a spell?

[Master] you can boost that up to a 14 so you have a 60% chance

[Master] and have more slots to spend on skills

[Lara] and the reasons are the Alteration types

[Master] BUT then the overall level of spells you can cast later on in life has a shorter ceiling

[Master] 5th level instead of 6th level

[Master] in my opinion it is the better optoin

[Lara] which is the better option?

[Master] to have more skills now and a better chance for each spell than hope you survive long enough to get to that high level

[Master] which will take about 2 to 3 years of playing

[Lara] for example, a dagger can be 5" or 9"

[Master] no a dagger is about 3 foot and a short sword woudl be up to 5 foot
