Spring: Pretty good. Didn't get snow. For once, we were too far north!
Spring: I like nights below freezing because it makes my low tech fridge work
Spring: At night I take the gel packs OUT so the cooler doesn't freeze inside. In the day I put the re-frozen gel packs back IN the cooler.
Spring: Tomorrow night it won't get that cold, so I just have to eat everything.
Spring: Well, but it will be fridge temps, so maybe I'll leave the lid off the cooler.

To the east, the wall rises 15 feet above sea level to what appears to be a 30-foot·wide ledge; details of the ledge are impossible to ascertain from the water's surface.

Spell - Waterbane Level: 1 Abjuration Casting Time: 1 segment Range: Touch Components: V, S, M Duration: 1 day or 1 day/level (Abjuration) This spell keeps a creature or an object from getting wet. It protects against water in liquid form- saltwater as well as fresh. When cast on a creature, it keeps the creature and its personal gear dry for one day. The creature can walk through pouring rain, dive into a pool, or stand beneath a waterfall, and still emerge with dry clothing and every hair in place. When cast upon an object, waterbane renders it completely watertight for a period of one day per level of the caster. For instance, a grain barrel protected with waterbane can be cast into the sea, and then wash ashore several days later with its contents completely dry. The spell does not prevent drowning. Nor does it enable a creature to breathe underwater or swim if it could not do so before. The spell provides no protection against corrosive acids or poisons, even when these are diluted in water. The spell has no effect upon creatures from the Elemental Plane of Water. The material components of this spell are a bit of wax and some paper. BOB If you cast it on a person and they walk around they stay dry in rain, but it they dive into the ocean they do get wet
BOB so the barrel/spell book/ etc would break the enchantment when opened
TMO (Rothuss Carder): if they go into a pool, they'll stay dry, but might still drown. But opening the object breaks the spell and it must be recast
