wyjyoon: i just couldn't wrap my brain around the mechanism of the weapons inside the whale thing

wyjyoon: maybe i have to look at the size of the axe and the trident to see if they're bigger than i'm imagining, but

wyjyoon: i dunno, it just didn't click for me in terms of spacing and size and all that

wyjyoon: i know i should be getting used to d&d mechanisms and stuff by now, but sometimes things are tricky for me

GM: So the effect of that is like being in any tight space. You can use what ever weapon you have in hand, but if it is not a small weapon then you cannot maneuver it, you can only wiggle it, So Mel's battle axe is over 4 foot long, not easily maneuvered in a tight space in the first place then the constriction. And cannot pull out a new weapon when contricted like that

MadamePsychosis: Bob can correct me but what I took it as was that large weapons require swinging room or more arm movement that could happen trapped and cramped in someone's belly

MadamePsychosis: sorry was typing while you responded

GM: It is a mechanic to use for when characters are tied up, etc. and yes Lisa has a good vision of that

wyjyoon: OH 4 feet long? yeah, that was way bigger than what i imagined

wyjyoon: and no worries lisa! i appreciate your view on it too, i feel like sometimes things don't click for me as fast as it should

GM: It is trickier with the harpoon, it would seem to be ideal to use, just push up and down, but being constricted can't move far enough to get a good thrust in

GM: If Vee had had her legs bound but still arms free, she would have been free to stab away

GM: If it was a "we are trapped in a balloon and we need to cut that fabric, yes, slow small movement to cut with the tips of the trident

GM: Technically should have checked for all the Slicing damage to see if hit someone inside, but I did not think that would be useful

GM: Yes to Carissa, so dagger, yes to slicing and doing damage, no to a medium or large weapon because in one round you cannot move it far enough up and down to do damage

The mental music seems louder here, and apparently has its source through the rent door.

This spherical, serpentine-tiled chamber holds a 5- . foot-diameter shaft in the center of the lower bowl. A faint glimmer of green light weakly spills over the lip of the shaft, but the source of the glow remains hidden.

The light is sufficient to backlight the silhouettes of at least half a dozen mummified bodies and skeletons that lie broken and rotting about the periphery of the shaft. The bodies and bones appear to be those of sahuagin!
