Twentieth Anniversary Game - Out of Character discussions
I am starting to plan out some of the celebrations we can have for our Twentieth Year.
My current plans are:
- May 10 13 - normal game
- May 17 13 - normal game (20th anniversary)
- May 18 13 - Saturday all day game
- May 25th is Memorial Day weekend
- Sep 07 13 - Saturday all day game
- Labor day weekend is the previous weekend
Any suggestions and ideas are always welcome for how and when to celebrate this event.

The current plan is to wrap up the Blood Trail Era and then move onto the next Era Alia Valebat in a smooth way. Depending on who is here which nights the Queen's dinner, then the Reception with the Count and then the trip to the Royal Estates should be quick and easy.
Suggestion: As always, it would be nice to have an "old" player return, especially for a specific part. I think meeting one or more of the "other" DragonSlayer would be way cool. Just to have this group visit one of the old dungeons or strongholds would be nice but that may only be for me and Bob. Last thought would be for each current player lead a small group of low level on a separate quest or battle with the other players running the npcs so everyone has a chance to lead. Too much? - John
John - I do like the idea of running shorter smaller adventures where only one of the Player Characters is involved and the other players either play henchmen or NPC/hireling characters. Once we are all done with the Blood Trail Era I think there will be a desire for some training time. We can perhaps run some adventures with the other characters not involved in training during that time frame.
As to old players returning I think that would be wonderful. I would love to try and make that happen. - BOB
All great ideas John! I second. I would love to see some of the old characters from the prior era and other players come back. Would be a great thing for a 20th anniversary - which is an incredible feat in itself. I like the quest idea too. And with two marathon games for next year, we could probably work it between the two if there isn't time in one session or certain people can't make it to one or the other, etc. - Lisa
