Angel
I have been re watching Angel, a good show from the time when good Vampires were new to TV. A spin off from Buff, The Vampire Slayer, the main character, Angel, was a really bad vampire cursed with a soul to live with regret for all his past crimes. Knowing he can never undo or make up for them, he fights the good fight to protect the weak and helpless. Over five seasons they developed the show and the characters well. They save the world a few times, lose more than one party member and have some reoccurring enemies and not so much enemies. The final season really brought it full circle when they get to run the evil law firm they had been fighting against from episode one. An interesting mix on power over good vs evil and not letting yourself be corrupted.
I actual missed the last one on the DVR and had to go to Netflix to catch the last episode. Basically they take split up to take out the Secret Society of evil running the whole world and those that survive meet up in an alley. The "Powers That Be" from the other dimension send all sorts of monsters and thing to take out the group. Clearly they wont win but they are going to go down fighting, so one says to the other what do we do. Angel gets to say the last line of the show. "Personally, I'd like to slay the dragon"
