[Mike] it's a great tool for collaboration like this

[Master] so what makes the new game different?

[Mike] oh hell, the earthquake wasn't even on his island

[Mike] we're streamlining stats. you only have 3

[Mike] quick levels, and the whole growth system is in skill trees

[Mike] so you get points to spend at each level and get to put them wherever you want.

[Mike] it's classless so people can be free to explore

[Master] Feybark Strand Some say that the name of this inlet north of Northam in Dryads Lair Principality comes from the mossy bark of the trees, but a story tells of a ship crewed by Fey mariners that beaches here once every decade, in the dead of winter. They wait seven days and then sail back into the winter mists. Are they honouring some ancient contract? Who or what do they wait for?

Ilero (TMO)] (camp as far from forest and waters edge as possible, so anything coming for us from either direction has further to go. And we'll do 3 fires.

Ilero (TMO)] sleep in the center of the fires, and take turns on watch, although Ilero will take more of it.

Ilero (TMO)] how many hours do we need to cover?

[Master] three watches covers the evening, night and early morning during prayer, learnign spells, etc.

Ilero (TMO)] Ilero will take 2 in a row, so Elle can still do her spells

Ilero (TMO)] he can sleep during the day some to make up for the lost sleep

[Master] They apparently have not seen exactly where Ilero and Elle are but they are looking towards the fires

[Admiral Olana (mharmon9)] At this moment. I do not know. My informants are more involved in the merchant and shippiing industry as well as local naval. I was hoping someone might have heard something but I digress. As I was saying

After a period of 10 years, they will receive a small pension, not much, but what is availble. They wil be granted amnesty of past crimes committed outsitde the kingdom and granted full citizenship.

[Guildmaster Laretta (TMO)] Prince, I've given the order for Piotr and his team to hand over the tasks they're working on to others and to begin combing the Admirality's books.

Sam (Master) nods, with a smile

[Sam (Master)] You are welcome to venture into the Naval Yards

[Guildmaster Laretta (TMO)] I'm assuming we'll find some graft and corruption. If the situation is as dire as the Admiral says, then it will be minor.

[Guildmaster Laretta (TMO)] I tend to suspect it will not be minor, and will be the main cause of the problems.

[Sam (Master)] I will admit that I have not attended a meeting where the Admiral did not have a request for more funding more ships, more sailors

[Guildmaster Laretta (TMO)] Since the people they are investigating are career military men, armed with sharp weapons, may I request that you have some guards on hand in case they find anything?

[Guildmaster Laretta (TMO)] Piotr is far too talented to lose.

[Sam (Master)] The Prince is more than willing to provide assistance and simply bring the books to Hightowers and I am certain he will protect you

Guildmaster Laretta (TMO) drops the empty shells on the floor. "Then I'm finished. Are there any other emergencies going on that I'll need to fix?"

[Sam (Master)] I do hope we are finished for this week

[Master] Any last comments before we ajourn our City Council Meeting?

Guildmaster Laretta (TMO) stares at a fingernail.

[Master] very well done, took us a bit but we got on a roll

[Master] next week we will have the evening of the 28th,

TMO turns off the attitude.

[Master] if TMO wants to do a meeting with Laretta at the Residence

[TMO] I won't be here next Friday

[Master] and then the morning of the 1st

[Master] well that solves that then

[TMO] I'll be at a conference in Denver during the week, and then visiting family the weekend

[Master] Denver still has like 12 feet of snow? ;)

[TMO] good thing the conference is indoors then.

[TMO] I'm not too worried about it. Denver is used to snow, they know how to handle it.

[TMO] at any rate, the goal is for her to tell the tale of the Expedition to Skull Church, her first mission with the Dragonslayers, when the head bugbear can overhear.

[TMO] so he can get suitably intimidated.

[Lisa] smiles

[TMO] it's got lots of drama, danger, and plenty of opportunity to make our people look tough and dangerous

[Lisa] and then the ghould started eating Ilero's leg...

[Lisa] sorry that was a low point

[TMO] but suitably dramatic and story-worthy

[TMO] the demon should be a fun part of the story

[TMO] anyways, that's her plan over the coming days
