Note

This story arc is called β-ice but for link purposes we need to use B-ice with the Latin B.

Story Arc Concept

My idea for this story arc was to have an adventure that would incentivize the characters to be interested in leaving Dragon Fen after all the hard work they had just put in. After all who leaves home right after the renovations are done? Some of the players had noticed an abandoned tower marked on the Craniate Wastes map that was revealed after the group had completed the initial building of Dragon Fen but it was not included in the story arcs in For The Love of Mist.

I wanted a mystical barrier to overcome that needed not only magic but ingenuity and a bit of daring. I found my inspiration in an article about a new type of ice that had been created for the first time and paired that with a creature from the Outer Planes.

Feed Back & Recollections

This story arc helped with showing how the Other Planes worked in a new up close and personal manner.
