The Diplomatic Quarter - Dryads Lair - City Proper
The district is dominated by Ashgrove Mansion, the grandest building in Dryads Lair next to the palace. There are several large residences here for housing visiting ambassadors and diplomats. There are also several inns which usually cater to those who don’t quite warrant a grand residence but still require comfortable lodgings. The district is also home to the city’s council chambers.
3. Dryads Lair Council Halls: Where the business of the city is done. Guilds and clubs may have offices in one of the three towers here. Status is measured by how high in the tower one’s chambers are.
4. Ashcroft Manor: This was the first royal residence in Dryads Lair, and once stood on a large and heavily treed yard. The needs of a growing population has shrunk its once palatial gardens.
5. Principality House: The most luxurious inn in Dryads Lair, often hosting ambassadors and diplomats who do not have a permanent residence.
6. The Court: A more meager inn which is usually filled by the entourages of those who stay at the Principality House.
7. The Overturned Tankard: A bustling tavern, famous for its gossiping staff. (Traders Quarter)
8. Naval Command: The residences and shipyards for the local branch of the Royal Navy. (The Naval Yard)
