Many times the main PC's do things for their henchmen I would like to do this small thing for mine. the resources and set up I need can be done long in advance of us getting there. 3). I still would like to explore the shopping centers here at Kazefryn, I would think that for those of us not super rich or powerful with our own countries that would be something we are all interested in - at least to resupply. 4). Although Tori died and Val died I didn't feel the short way was all that dangerous. Tori died under questionable circumstances to a 4 hit die doppleganger and she was a very nice warrior...that is between her and Bob. Val died because his player is dumber that shit on toast...

The gnoll lair is another two days' journey, up into the mountains.
