- Whilst the others undergo training, Temperance returns to filling her role for the Cathedral. It includes but is not limited to: corresponding with the High Priestess through paying her dues and submitting her written account of the things that happened on her journey, starting from the geas and the rum, that cave with all the strange pod creatures, the Church of Mists, delivering a child to the Snow Man up in the mountains, exploring the Bowl, all the way to the caves of Jilanth.
- Duty-bound as she may be, she makes the surprising judgment call NOT to divulge absolutely everything to the Cathedral— especially when it comes to personal details about Vee and the others. While she’s never been interested in disrespecting anyone’s privacy, her internal conflict has a lot to do with prioritizing her own beliefs and boundaries vs. prioritizing unquestionable loyalty as a Priestess of the Cathedral. She’s starting to think that law and chaos do not necessarily exist independently of the other (there is no need for law without the chaos to prevent etc.) and is beginning to lean more towards freedom of choice and allowing the natural consequence to follow.
- Within the first month she comes to the realization that living like the hermit she has before has become less satisfying for her. Perhaps it’s all thanks to her louder traveling companions and all the ruckus she’s gone through? She’s taken more to spending her time exploring various places in Osterhold, frequenting apothecaries, taverns, shops, etc. If she doesn’t run into the others during her explorations, it’s likely that she’ll be present at any training that takes place at the Cathedral. Vee is her free-spirited self, so… whenever she decides to return to Osterhold?
- On occasion, the unanswered questions from her prior adventures bother her. Who created all those pod creatures, and why? Was Firebeard all a hoax after all? Her instincts tell her there’s more than what meets the eye, and when her curiosity gets the best of her she visits the library. Because who else is she going to talk to?
- Towards the end of the 54 weeks she snips her hair short because she feels it’s less to worry about. Now all her curls just bounce all over the place, yay.
- She stocks up on materials she may need for her next adventure, such as material components for spells and newer daggers.
