He was one of the crazy characters. The DragonSlayers at the time decided they could take on a Eye of the Beholder (insert Link) Thed was braver then he should have been. First he tried to drink a potion we did not know what it did, and it almost killed him. Then he was on a ledge trying to get an angle on the beholder when it used it's disinagration beam and turned Thed into a pile of dust.
