Inspiration

This is a section for quotes from others that ring true with me. They are broken into two types, Humor and Serious.
"You Play Better Golf if you play the ball from where it lies rather than where you wish it were laying."
Some are both Serious and Funny.
"There is a theory which states that if ever anybody discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened." - Douglas Adams
Maybe more than once.
Most are short one or two liners.
"The early bird gets the worm. But the second mouse gets the cheese."
Some are long and some need some background.
"Give me ambiguity, or give me something else."
Some are just funny and mean nothing.
I do not read horoscopes regularly, not even monthly, but when I do and it speaks to me, I take heed.
"You're under the impression that if you just work hard enough and sacrifice enough of what you really love to do, you'll be rewarded. There are actually more benefits to following the things that bring you joy than to sacrificing yourself to someone else's idea of the correct way to live."
Then there is Desiderata
I do not remember when or why, but I remember thinking I had to have a simple but different way to end a dialog, written or spoken. I have lost it a little as the joy has left my life, but it is making a comeback. The ending at least.

If I could post a whole book here it would be the Book - Illusions by Richard Bach. In many ways it's a book of quotes and a way to live life. I have ever found more Truth then in this book.
