[Master] you can affect a unit of troops, which means you need to ahve a cohesive group of people who are fighting as a unit, not a handful fo adventurers

[Master] there are some good skirmishers rules too

[Eric W] so what would happen if I cast the caltrop spell say when there are 10-15 guys

[Master] for the most part they can avoid them

[Master] because they are able to move between them

[Master] but a unit does not have that flexibility/dexterity

[Eric W] so really that sphere wont' be too useful unless we get into large scale combat which you said we dont really do?
