[DM] so the issue is that that fireball will leak out of the room into the one you are in

[Beth] If she's firing a fireball, Kira will be moving out of the way of course

[DM] there is essentially no way you can avoid the effects of the firebal in both rooms

[DM] is cast at the beginning of the battle like that

[DM] just so that you know

[DM] the fireball radius is on both maps

[DM] and we can just roll for damage to see what happens

[BiBo clone] okay, so percy steps back, I put up a wall of fire on our wall, the ghouls take damage until they either die or brave the wall to funnel into that doorway. there, arilyn chops them up by sword

[DM] ok then

[DM] Percival moved 3'10".

[BiBo clone] so, essentially, everything within 10 ft of the hot side of the wall (aka inside that room) takes 2d4 points of damage a round. anything within 20 ft takes 1d4 a round. anything that walks through the wall will take 2d6+12 points of damage. undead (aka these ghouls) take double damage.

[BiBo clone] so, whatever manages to survive that and get to arylin gets to get beat down by her whoopin stick

[DM] so the first group takes ({2d4*2) -1+({2d6+12) -1 points of damage just to get out of the room
