Kaeln Echem
One of the carpenters working on the restoration of Skull Church Kaeln by happenstance became locally famous for dueling Baron Thogood of the Quellcon Estates.
After Lord Witherbane IV was killed under Skull Church during the Third Time is Tradition adventure Branwyn was taking the body back to the Quellcon Estates. Kaeln was randomly picked to help with pulling the wagon that carried the body. Upon entering the Quellcon Estates the group was challenged by Baron Thogood on the point of honor for the death of his brother in law. Kaeln was chosen from the group to defend Dragon Fen's honor. Baron Thogood easily bested Kaeln in single combat. For his service to her Estate Branwyn gifted Kaelin a blue quartz, "the color of the sky outside of the mist".
Upon returning to Skull Church Kaeln resumed his work as an apprentice carpenter. Being recognized from traveling with the group he was called upon to assist with attempting to remove the moat from the hill top and was brought along when the group investigated the goblin lair under the hill.
