MTR abbreviation for: Manetho Reckoning
This calendar system was the original way of dating for a large portion of the Central Area and parts of the Western World. All other calendar systems in the surrounding areas began with this one.
It was the Manetho Empire that laid out the calendar grid in twelve month increments with one day set aside for worship of that month's god.
The starting point for this calender is the founding of the original dynasty of Manetho.
