Michael was a librarian at the library I was working at. We were running a monthly introduction to roleplaying seminar there and he watched a session or two and wanted to see what a regular game was like.

He quickly found the camaraderie at the table was part of the overall fun with roleplaying. He was a quiet player who had lots of questions every night about 'why are you doing that', 'is there a way to use magic to solve this'. His methodical way of thinking things through quickly made him part of the team.
