Open Letter to the DragonSlayers,

I have watched the DragonSlayers for many, many years, longer then some of you have been alive. I have seen you do great things and I have seen you get yourself in and out of all sorts of trouble. You, as a group are a force of nature, as much as the wind and rain. But like the wind and rain you are influences by many factors, some you do not even see nor can you control. You, nay we have a chance to regain that control.

From the moment we heard someone had been using the DragonSlayer’s name in vain, some of you were out for blood. Many have died in the quest to make the DragonSlayers look like the good guys. And we have found that justice, ohe one person alive that beseeched our name is in our prison right now. It was Octivia alone who decided to blame the DragonSlayers for the attacks. She was working for Blue Gill, but not specifically against us.

Some still have perused it further, falling into the trap to do the bidding of said evil creature and destroy her former boss on her behalf. I implore you Fin to come to Roadhaven so we can discuss this further. At least do no more damage to the DragonSlayer’s name until you understand the facts of what has transpired.

Blue Gill, Ozzy or what ever you want to call him, is a force of nature like the DragonSlayers. All forces of nature collide at times. The two in question have collided many times over the years, often without one (The DragonSlayers) knowing about the other (Blue Gill). Without knowing it, the DragonSlayer’s have done plenty to piss off Blue Gill. If you wish do so again, please make sure it is for the right reason and worth the risk. Do not blemish the DragonSlayer’s name for the sake of someone blemishing the DragonSlayer name.

Once a DragonSlayer, Always a DragonSlayer

Fin says: "A good plan overall, but I will not lead the third group. I have research to do myself, Paul. I wish to find or discover how to make one of the magic aquatic bows, I'm starting to think I need to be able to keep a steady stock of magic arrows anymore, and I can also make scrolls that will be helpful and save Moirra and myself from using up all our magic on the little things.

As for Rave, if you wish to find someone to resurrect him, feel free. I just want it clear that I will not put myself in someone else's debt for it. That you will do on your own silver, as they say. The last two people I brought back from the dead wished that I had left them there." ::stares pointedly at Paul::

"But I will offer up Anterias in my stead to search for the buffoon. Val would probably be a good addition to that group. Her and Ant have managed in the past to track down people well enough."

Keith (the new Paul) address the group.

Thank you all for your hard work and perseverance. We still have one companion to help and a lot of research to do before we are ready to take on the likes of Blue Gill. Before I start some of my bigger projects to really help the group, I will do a few short term tasks. I can learn a few spells from the library to learn Water breathing and similar spells that you thik you might need. Then put a few scrolls together to take with you where ever you decide to go. Kit and Khan will accompany you if you wish. As far as the travels in the island, I would rather give you a few scrolls of Flying and hopefully you won't need to breathe water. But I will you want I can just in case. All I need is time and money.

I would sugest we split into three groups. Myself and anyone else who wants to train or otherwise prepare for the future stays here. A second group, I sugest Morria led, try and find someone who will resurect Rave, and the thrid group, led by Fin to find Lord Jocquin. These should not be dangerous missions, but if you do not wish to seperate the party further, I sugest you get Rave back first. I believe he is a bounty hunter by trade and that is pretty much what we will be doing to find Lord Jocquin and Blue Gill and his gang.

Finglas shakes his head. "Rave in his infinite wisdom decided to dispel the deep freeze for some reason or another. And now his actions again hurt our friends. I don't remember how many days it has been. Too many. You loose sense of time down there in the tunnels with no sun or moon. If I was a bit wiser I could simply resurrect him, but I must admit that I cannot wield that level of magic. I did not take any of his items, they should all be on his body, unless someone else took them. I'm sorry for his loss and would like to help in any way I can. Perhaps you or Kit still have your wish. I had to bring Anterias back using the well."

Khan wipes the shocked look off his ugly face. "Your saying he died, TWICE? And now he is pulverized. Wow."

paces a few moments
:

"He made it clear he only wanted the party to bring him back, but clearly we can't. He did not take the time to make a scroll of reincarnation." ::paces a few more time - "Kit's going to be pissed. We have to do something. I am sure he would accept a reincarnation from a wizard. We could ask what's his name in Wolfspack, that priest of Math Mahonny, as long as he hasn't started back at 1st level recently. He would have been prepared enough with a scroll." "What happened to his deep freeze? Oh no, how many days ago did he die? We only have the number of days as the level of mage. The longer we wait, the higher level we need. I guess Gelagear would be the best odds of finding someone. I bet we could trade for it, did his ring of wizardry survive the crushing blow? ::looks at party hopefully
