Mosskin Estates

The Mosskin Estates is the largest and most orderly of all the Estates in Drillian.

Several Queens have come from various branches of this family, with other Estates being settled by some who were not chosen for the throne. Other ambitious scions of this family established their own domains, such at the Jistille Estates.

Towns and villages of the Estate

• Penissa
  • a largish town with two churches, three inns, and two blacksmiths
  • the place where the Hill Road meets the Dry Road
• Mosskin Hall (20200207)
  • a large palace with a wide expanse of land around it
    • built on an island in a lake with a causeway three wagons wide over to the hall
    • center of the causeway floats, when there is danger, the lake dikes can be breached and the water level fall, dropping the center of the causeway preventing entry
    • over a half mile long, and you enter a large hill with piles of buildings upon buildings on a central island
  • many small hamlets of 4 or 6 buildings clustered together around the area of the lake
  • three larger villages around the edges
