The Del Trill family is thought by some to be a little more underhanded in their dealings than they need to be. The Earl Chester Del Trill has several children who compete against each other for his favor. His son Drell has attempted to keep his other siblings safe and out of the attention of the other families, for example the time he tried to escort his sister out of a jail at the same time the Dragonslayers were visiting that jail to interview one of the Pirate Queens
