Scylding
The dwarven city of Scylding is a rarity in the dwarven world in that they openly interact with the local human population. Only Morten in the Mountains of Copper is close to being as accessible as Scylding is. Spanning two large peaks of the Great Mountains near Bozawa on the Great Trade Route the dwarves of Scylding have a vibrant, albeit difficult to reach, trading outpost. They serve as mediators and middlemen for goods from the Underdark that are desired by the surface populations. Because of the intensely fertile lands around Bozawa, they can provide food specialties such as grains or vegetables that are a rarity in the Underdark communities.
Other dwarven communities also use Scylding to help communicate or negotiate dwarven differences. Ovainmalk is one such community. There are many skilled craftsdwarves and experts who can be contacted in Scylding, such as Daggar Fishbone.
