Thalion
When the Dragonslayers were on a mission in the Island Kingdoms they stopped by the island of Thalion to solve a test that the Queen here hosted {7-12-538 SGR}.

This is a large old presumed extinct volcano. Up on the summit are two lakes in the old caldera. The society here is matriarchal, with a Queen as ruler. The Keldorian church has traditionally posted a high level female priest here as well.
The society is very open minded with little problem from pirates staying nearby becasue of a lack of valuable metals for export. The hills are extensively forested and the ship builders here are well known. Thalion is lightly populated because of a plague that ravished the population almost 100 years ago (456 SGR) and about 50% of the population perished. There are several "lost" cities in the jungles that were abandoned during this time.

- Test Vault on the southeastern ridge
Uriel has the only port on the island that is capable of launching ships to sea directly, however there is a well known cove on the northeastern shore that many traders use longboats to access.
Along the southern shores is a formation called the Great Sealion's Print. This is from the legend of the constellation of the same name, and is supposed to be where she stepped on earth last before ascending to the skies.
