The Second Cataclysm

(also called the Great Cataclysm)

This happened on 1100 TGR (1 SGR or 563 CER) and engulfed a huge section of the southern portions of the Central Area, remnants of the old Manetho Empire the southern reaches of Everreach and most of the Island Kingdoms.

Although the origins of this Cataclysm are not clear it is known that more than 100 islands in the Island Kingdoms disappeared in the week long storm. Most of the southern coast of Everreach became uninhabitable.
