Thed in Thedd
Once on a day off at Thedd, Thed was walking in the surrounding woods. He was looking for a particular weed, some call flower, Gerline. This particular weed was very similar to the clover found in the hills of Ramon, but Thedd was nowhere near there. Thed came to a patch of weeds in a clearing just over the hill when he tripped on something. Without even thinking what he tripped over he found himself face down in a bed of Cartine, which was quite rare and was known to grow near Gerline. As he pushed back the Cartine, he heard a tiny muffled voice. Thed remembered a story from his childhood where fairies would trick strangers to stop them from taking their crops, so he ignored the voice and continued to find a few stems of Gerline. He grabbed a few Cartine, just for good measure and started to leave, when there was a distinct change in the voice behind him. Thed uncovered some of the brush and found a box, all but buried in the ground. "Hello" he called out to the voice in the box. The only word he could understand from inside was a faint "Peeeeesssseeeee." Thed thought best to get the rest of the Dragonslayers, at least one more. He put his hand on the box and said in a calming voice "I'll be back." As Thed walked away, back to the manor house of Thedd, his thoughts magically slid back to the weeds in his hands. By the time he got back to the rest of the Dragonslayers, he not only forgot all about the box and the troubled voice, he was trying to remember why he was carrying a bunch of weeds.
