Westemnet
This small island in the Island Kingdoms seems to be abandoned. A few pirates have visited the area and fewer have returned. When the Dragonslayers were traveling through this group of islands during one of their adventuring periods they stopped here and encountered one of their most formidable challenges.
The island of Westemnet.
The island of Westemnet is a ringed by reefs and there is only one way to approach. Some sort of magical field prevents any creature from flying anywhere on the island and in the nearby surf. (a 6,000 foot radius centered on the ruined abbey) Anyone approaching the island has to trek through the dunes on the southern tip of the island. Each section of the dunes is magically enchanted so that when someone steps onto the sands a group of undead skeletons arises to protect the dunes from intruders.
The adventure run here was the 'Isle of the Abbey' and created a great rivalry for the group. BOB
Note: It is possible to float in the air, the DragonSlayers proved it with a spell that turned them into ballons and then used another spell to enhance the wind to blow us across.
