I asked ten questions about KloOge and how we use this website in this survey. I wanted to know what changes everyone would like to see in how we run the game on Fridays and interact with each other the rest of the time.

Combat
Combat in KloOge can bog down sometimes. What do you think some of the reasons are?

- You are to unorganized
- Sometimes I don't have a complete mental picture of what's going on, so I'm hoping I'm making the right decision. Although, in combat, I do pretty well with my main char (who's just a fighter!)
- your saying it's my fault?
- There is a rules debate occuring and I'm waiting for it to conclude before I decide what action to take.
I was glad that so many admitted that they are the reason combat slows down. If someone is on another site they are not watching closely for their turn to come up. I will try to find a way to stream line the dice panels more and automate more things as well.

- I confess I have some difficulty with the map interface. I'm just not "good" at it!
I will continue to use the links that are on the map but not add any new ones to avoid any additional clutter.

'I asked some of these just to test and see if the players understood what we are actually doing right now. I will not implement the separate numbers for movement and attack or rolling every round. The others we are already doing or can be added in automatically.

I wanted to see what sections people were using and it appears that all but the chat history are visited on a regular basis.

- And what the hell is an RSS feed?

So there is no great need for an RSS feed for the site, I will not be working on that anytime soon.

Using KloOge for other things
Would you be interesting in playing other board games designed to work through KloOge on a different night than the normal game sessions? (Diplomacy, Black Death, various Cheap Ass games, etc.)

- Remember some nights we would play other games? That was kinda cool. Not too much, but when everybody's dying and stuff, it might not be a bad idea to take a little break or what-have-you... I liked when we played Alternity and *you* played, too, Bob!

I think that the Klooge platform has a lot of potential and it seems that while some would not want to use it at other times some would like to have the chance to play other games together again. I will investigate it but not have a high priority on it.

When we first moved the game to online five years ago we tried to play by web cam and voice and it did not work very well at all. Java can also be a resource hog. I now have a machine that is much faster and my connection speed is twice as fast now so we might try this in the future but it is not a priority.

Because I do not play WoW I am leaving that up to the players that do to organize how everyone can link through the guilds there. For the rest I will try to use the Facebook group more.

I think the email comment was interesting in that everyone earlier said they check the site once or twice a week and the surveys were on the Players Communication section three times and on the News & Updates page for the entire three weeks they were posted. I do like the idea of a recap and will see about rotating that through different players for different story arcs in the future.
