Well Met, Traveler
Welcome to the Town of Noem. This bustling little town in these pastoral lands has a small population yet a large number of visitors. Many travel here before setting off on The Journey, that defying moment all lives, young or old, new and experienced, take as expected. Their reasons vary, but all gather here and shop here in preparation.
You find yourself in Noem through various means, or perhaps you grew up here, with a basic traveler’s set, easily found in most places: backpack, sleeping bag, wooden utensils, water pouch, and rations enough for a week. But you don’t yet have enough to make your journey more comfortable. Now that you are in Noem, you set off to find others who may be willing to pool their remaining money with yours to get yourself a proper Party Set: a pack animal, barrel, wooden chest, repair set, soap, washing set, torch, firestarter set, and tent.
You glance around, see the job board, the tavern, the bakery, the teahouse, and more. There are many other individuals milling around as well, enjoying the fresh early Spring air. Goal in mind, you head off…
