So everyone except Licornah Branwyn Tiberius and Indigo have made it out to the gates and are able to get out of the steading

So the group tries to make it away from the steading and into the hills towards where your cave is to take refuge and a rest
Branwyn: Oh Tiberius. I am so sorry. I saw them try to surround you! Thank you for running to me

Branwyn: The elves need to decide how to handle the chain and the elven goddess and her avatar before we can leave this plane

The Hill Giant hit the Strangely powerful Ankheg in the thigh with his club, killing him.
The Hill Giant hit the Flawed giggle Ankheg on the back of the forearm with his club, critically wounding him.

Branwyn: Good ankhegs! Follow me
Branwyn: Stop attacking!

the ankhegs completing their summoning disappear

Branwyn: Bixi can you learn conjuring or summoning spells? That is all a monster summoning is.
Bixi Fizzlebang: I think so...
Branwyn: there are different levels of that spell. If we are home for a stretch you can try to learn a version

Craigh wipes his hands off on the giant's clothing.
Craigh: Well, that was disgusting.
Craigh takes some samples for possible potion/spell components. Hair, nails, whatever might be appropriate and not take long.
and so in the late afternoon you manage to make it back to your cave in the hills and use one portion of the paint to make the cave invisible
