Youtargim: in the open sea on a Ship you have to go between the waves

Youtargim: but on a river or lake you can normally just use the rudder to guide along the current

Youtargim: For a boat they normally do not have a real rudder to steer, more one to keep things steady

Howard Plum: The only way to do this would be to either wake Youtargim to steer the ship to the raft. Or we ... or I would need to swim out and fight the escapee in order to steal his prisoners
Howard Plum: He is counting on the sale of his captors to enable him to go on with his life I believe

Howard Plum: Which is also why I thought perhaps to leave them to their fate and not get involved

Craigh: nods. “Yep. I don't even bother correcting them anymore.”

Craigh: So, Rivers Bend? Anything in particular you'd like?
Youtargim: I have never heard of the place until Indigo and Thistle told me we were going there
Youtargim: Thistle seems worried about someone there
Craigh: Did she say who?

Craigh: pulls out a small notebook and writes a short note in it.
Youtargim: I know that Talwin is heading to Dryads Lair and Howard and Bixi have something to do there
Youtargim: but I do not know where that city is either
Youtargim: Just “downriver”
Craigh: It's farther out a ways, but probably not all that far compared to what you're used to.
Youtargim: I have not seen a river go this far back home
Craigh: But for those of us from the Small Kingdoms it can be like a whole nother world
Youtargim: the seas yes but rivers?
Craigh: I've never seen the sea.
Youtargim: Are we heading back into the Mist?
Craigh: Only when we go back to Dragon Fen.
Youtargim: Do you think that Thistle has a long lost boyfriend? Is that who we are rescuing?

Craigh: Unlike some other people, I don't overestimate how attractive I am to other people.
Raelynn: Mmm, she did when she was younger, I was told, but she's never asked much about that stuff so not sure she's focused on it now.

Howard Plum: or we would have to tow them behind us if we didn't trust them so ... I left them to their fate rather than assume the risk

Craigh: I think if we do anything, it should probably be limited to some food or water.

Raelynn: We don't know how much of their story is true. We should help them. We can always tie them up if we need and drop them at the next town.

Youtargim: I can get us over to the channel but we are going to pass them if we keep rowing

Giant Crab (Battered) takes a swipe at Akilah with its pincers but misses.
There are three giant sized crabs on the shore attempting to mount the Knarr

Indigo hits the Giant Crab (Battered) with his Short Sword, killing it. Zayden: we fighting these crabs?
Thistle: Gotta kill them before you can eat 'em.
Zayden: Great point Thistle!
Zayden: Boy crab would be delicious
