Searching for Alexandria
From 20-11-357 SKR to 22-09-358 SKR
The group had returned from Cloak Check and gathered themselves after discovering the large passage of time while they had been gone. During their information gathering process they had several concurrent quests:
- Branwyn is searching for where the library in Hell is to return the cursed book. She is looking for a path to Alexandria, the burning library. She also needs to aquire the cursed book from the Royal Library in Dryads Lair. Book Return - Second Overdue Notice
- Talwin is yearning to learn Mastery in his two handed sword. In his search he has discovered that the legendary Alexandria, the famous duelist, was last known to be residing at the Drakes Head lighthouse in the Principality of Dryads Lair.
- Bixi has discovered through listening to Shi that there is a very rare plant called Alexandria (Ashline by the Elves) that can be used to create a potion to restore someone who has been turned to stone back to flesh. This plant only grows in the northern forests and would not survive The Mist.
- Thistle has gotten a premonition that a member of her clan has been held captive in the prison of Alexandria at Rivers Bend.

Story Arc Concept
For this story arc I wanted to create a reason for the group to be traveling together for a purpose but not have only one character be the focus. I combined several threads together to hopefully engender the idea of family traveling without the pressure of a timetable. The key residents of the Estate would stay home and reconnect while the rest were able to just go explore. If a side quest appeared and it looked interesting the group could follow it or not.

This was the first time in years that I created a story arc with concepts of an ending but not a surety of what would need to happen to get there.
