mharmon1: I recommend leaving for now. We know how to get back here. We can campt back at the location of the rockslide. Normally, I wouldn't be for this, but I hate cave systems in Real life, I hate them in Fake Life. I'd like to get our guys healed up as best as possible, and even attempt to keep a low profile to avoid trouble as much as possible. This is my thoughts. If Carissa will be "out" then I nomintate this course of action. Lemon and TMO would be great for their opinions as well since we are basically knights of the round right now on our coucil voting

Expeditious Retreat cast on himself adds 5' to his vertical leap *and* triples his movement rate. The tunnel drops precipitously down to a lower elevation, falling about thirty feet through a very narrow channel. There is no gap on either side of the water, and only about two feet of clearance in the channel that is not filled with rushing, gurgling water. On one side of the tunnel there is a round wooden indentation, like a door, and on the other side there is a small keyhole.

Concealed by the waterfall's flow, there is a wooden-runged ladder, apparently formed by natural growth of roots, leading down the cliff face where the waterfall normally flows. It is easy to descend this ladder.

There is a four-way intersection here. In the middle of the intersection a large growth of wood, apparently of natural origin, divides the flow of the river into three parts, diverting it so that a channel of water runs down the center of the other tunnels, all of which slope gradually downward from this point.

Master TMO (Rothuss Carder): what situation am I rolling on? Pushing Jericho up the ladder? Climbing the ladder when the waterfall turns back on? Getting ambushed by the rear by the Alien?

The tunnel down into the caverns winds along a narrow and uneven path, following the river's natural course. Stalactites hang low from the ceiling, and the rock floor is treacherously slippery from the splashing water. The subterranean air has a placid, piercing chill, all too familiar to veteran adventurers. Suddenly, the river-carven tunnel slopes abruptly downward, and just ahead there is the unmistakable sound of a waterfall dashing down to rocks below.

We got out of the cave, but something was chasing Rothuss and Jericho and Jericho hit head a bunch of times or something on the way up and got knocked out, but we made it out. Then we moved to this spot on the jungle, and that guy came to talk to us about the mushroom men.

LemonyLemon (Levi Reed): I was also good with the cave but then something started chasing Rothuss and Jericho on the way up the ladder so we skedaddled

seyfert (Vee Barlett): Makes this whole thing longer, but whatever. We're out. And maybe not safe to camp nearby so scrape finishing this quick apparently

seyfert (Vee Barlett): up to Spring and TMO. We can always visit your home on the way back, too

LemonyLemon (Levi Reed): The fishing house encounters seemed pretty managable with just those who were on watch, but... we might have gotten lucky
