GM: So first off questions about the Watches page

GM: Yes to Wendy, something that indicates that you are in a safe place, where you are unlikely to be randomly attacked, sleeping in the wilderness for example

GM: Sleeping at an Inn when you know you are being followed and might be attacked? Still gets you sleeping in a bed overnight if you make it through the night

Essentially, we try to be as quiet as possible. for the rest of the Watch. THoughts

GM: So first off Michael and Wendy do you understand the Spell Casting portion of after you wake up?

GM: Not Walking Wounded means you get skill checks, etc. but you did lose hit points

Master TMO (Rothuss Carder): At 0, you lose all spells. At -1 you become Walking Wounded with all those penalties. Is that a fair assessment?

wyjyoon (Temperance): And to BOB, I read the Watches and it says you regain spells after 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep.

GM: when you are high level it is glossed over as you only cast 4 spells, but now it is a good time to go back over the basics and walk through things

GM: Magic Users or Priest always need the same amount of time to memorize spells

springdew (Ratbone Carder): No, I always heard magic users take the first or last watch always, but now it sounds better for them to take the last watch

GM: so Spell Casters take 1st or 3rd watch 90% of the time

GM: take first watch get 8 hours to sleep and then memorize when you wake up for third watch but not help a lot

GM: The key thing is, if you WANT to sleep watch 2 and 3 but get attacked in watch three and wake up.... you lose your chance to memorize new spells

GM: You can parry (per the rules in the Link) or you can take the -3 to your Armor Class for one attack per round
