Armor Class

Armor class is a number representing how hard it is to hit and do damage to someone. Armor Class goes from a 10 for the easiest to hit to a -10 for hardest to hit.

There are many modifiers that a character can use to change their Armor Class including wearing Armor and a characters Balance score.
