Birthday Game 2020 - Session Summary
Session: 20200912
- It's the birthday game. We spend a lot of time trying to make new characters who are, er, well, not that impressive to start. Why are we (me) getting hung up on the simple things?
- The merchants are selling wares. The buyers are buying wares. Then Uncle Fourthing shows up asking for adventurers. Who's going to fall for that one?
- All of them. Some with more difficulties than others, but they all go.
- First up are two centipedes on some unidentified dead animals. Go around or kill the centipedes just because?
- Kill the centipedes. Is it just because? You can decide.
- And identify the dead animals as an alligator where we steal some paws and teeth. Too rotting to steal much more.
- Next is a field of unidentified flowers that put people to sleep. Or just Aunt Fourthing. So what do we do?
- Stop skiffs. Check. Burn field? No. Go around it. Got it.
- Time to stop for snacks. Don't feed the bullywugs!
- Through some varied attacks, and a bit of pain, we take them down. But it did hurt. A little.
- Giant snake is the next encounter. Some animal noises from Milo scares it off.
- Guess who's lost? The one who hired us. Figures. Now we're at some tower?
- Cody's Camp. He tells us where he heard some weird noises, but we don't get much else out from visiting his camp. Away we go.
- This time, rather than get lost, when mushroom...things block our way, Fourthing sneaks by them and shines a light.
- We paddle around them and find Fourthing. Success! She thinks she knows where she is!
- This is when we run into Fredikins (aka Ryan's character when he logs in). Lucky him, suddenly surrounded by frogs. Wait...
- They fight, nearly die, nearly get eaten, but with some frog calming and last minute log ins to offset the in battle log offs, we do, somehow, survive.
- And look! It's the Swamp Monster! Which... is a boat and/or submarine? Not an actual monster to fight? What...?
- So, yeah. Story ends! What happens to the heroes of this arc? Time will tell. Change them as you like (if you have an idea of their true identity). Or don't. Up to you. Good night!

[Master] Friedikins was aout in a canoe fishing, working on his latest creation (you will see by your proficiencies) when you were suddenly struck by a large shadow on the edge of the channel, you looked that way, started towards it, then your canoe started to sink and you were surrounded by giant frongs
[Ryan] Your character is now dead. Roll another.
[Joe (Carissa)] (so all new characters today, none of our others)
[Ash Cinderfall (Spring)] (just temporary characters)
