Black Raven Lodge
This is the family estate of the Spikethorn family. It is situated on the northern bank of the Chandler Cowles River and is considered part of the surrounding area of Loosend. The family has lived in this area for over 50 years and has built up a comfortable residence. There are two large buildings in the center of the property and several smaller ones on the main path along the river.
One point of interest at the Black Raven Lodge is that the Spikethorn family keeps a small herd of Hippogriffs. The herd consists of 3 females and one male that are in good condition and one retired old male that is no longer ride-able. The family has a tradition that the eldest child will inherit one of the colts of the herd and the second child will go out to the wild to bring back new blood for the herd.
