[Malagorn (mikE) (to GM only)] Character sheet for Pepe modified: Notes - CHANGED: Pepe's Journal -- : ::This is a dirty book that is filled with writing, much like a journal. The writing is sloppy and childish, but legible if you squint and tilt your head a bit. It also helps if you've had a drink or two to make the letters lean into focus.:: Today was an interesting day. I am able to read and write now. Not exactly sure how it happened. One minute I'm just sitting on the table like I usually am with my master waving his hands at me and next thing I know I understand what he's saying. It was so verry disorienting at first. But my master Mal eventually taught me to read and write as well as speak different languages. Said he was too busy to learn himself, so he'd teach me to know them for him. This actually took several different spells and new casting and teaching methods, so ended up more effort than just learning himself, but I digress. Anyway, I decided to exersize my newfound intelligence and start a journal. I hear people do this sort of thing. I suppose I should start with my early experiences with Mal. Keep in mind this is before I could read and write, so I will be talking in past tence for a bit. I was born quite the normal skunk. Middle of the litter, kept my nose clean and didn't get into trouble. One day I heard this voice in my head telling me I needed to go to this specific spot in the woods and help the human there. Not sure I understood at the time why, but I figured it couldn't hurt to help someone in need. When I went there Mal was quite a wreck, drunk as a well, skunk... Anyway, the voice told me that he was my new master and I should do my best to keep him alive. Oh what a chore that turned out to be. First thing he did was try to use me as a pillow. So I sprayed him. Perfectly acceptable responce if you ask me. Over time Mal and I got accustomed to each other. It wasn't so bad. Then he started experimenting on me. I didn't quite understand at first, but as he used me for his magic I became gradually smarter, and gained some interesting abilities as well. Turns out he was reinventing the wheel as they say. He was recreating the familiar enhancing spells. They worked like a charm, sure, but hardle new and ground breaking magical research. Poor Mal was so confused that the wizarding community more or less just played along like he made a new discovery and rewarded him with a pie. Good pie, too. And so that is how I became an intelligent, writing, magical, flying skunk. But where did he come up with Pepe anyway..? ---- Mal and I have been travelling for some time. It's so frustrating when he goes into one of his other personas. He's hard enough to keep track of when he's him, let alone when he changes his personality on me. Get this, today he decided he was death. Death! He actually believes he is the living personification of death. I suppose this is to make up for the one that 'died' in that fork incident in the pub last week. Not sure how a fork in the hand will kill someone but Ralph certainly was convinced of it. Maybe Death won't be so bad... Oh cripes. He's trying to reap some porcupines. I'd better go and stop him from doing something- oh, too late... ---- Okay, this is very odd. I have wings. Honest to gods wings. I can fly now. How weird is that? Well, I'm going to go play now. Damn squirrels up in their trees are going to get a lesson now. Just thought I should mention wings in this thing. ---- So, Mal overhears someone speaking in a bar about joining the city guard. Oh, he just thinks that's a novel idea! Lucky for me he's not the brightest bulb and decides the city guard recruitment office must be that big building we passed back in the mountains. So tomorow he's going to teleport there and sign up. Hopefully they'll just give him a pat on the head and send him on his way. ---- It has been several days with this group, the Dragon Slayers. Mal has since turned into Death again, but this time he's taken over a cult in a local city. I swear I'm going to have to organize this thing. It will be worse than the death anonymous group he put together to help the newly dead deal with their situation. After that the group managed to stage a coup and overthrow the illithid controlled city guard. Yes. Illithids. Why do these things always happen to me? ---- Well, we have now gone spelunking into the illithid layer. And we have Steve. Steve is quite the charismatic one. He thinks we overthrew the town fo rhim. I think my master just might end up running this town with all his personalities if this keeps up. Ramone wants Mal to use the tower as his lab. Death has taken over the main religious cult. Steve has claimed the city as his own. I like Ramone. He is fun. And he feeds me things. The girl Rosethron feeds me, so I will leave her unsprayed as of the moment. If she keeps buying her way like that I suppose she can remain stink free. I'll have to find a comfortable room in our tower and claim it as my own next time we go in there. And try to keep Mal from cutting apart Kit in the name of research. One minute I'm just sitting on the table like I usually am with my master waving his hands at me and next thing I know I understand what he's saying. It was so verry disorienting at first. But my master Mal eventually taught me to read and write as well as speak different languages. Said he was too busy to learn himself, so he'd teach me to know them for him. This actually took several different spells and new casting and teaching methods, so ended up more effort than just learning himself, but I digress. Anyway, I decided to exersize my newfound intelligence and start a journal. I hear people do this sort of thing. I suppose I should start with my early experiences with Mal. Keep in mind this is before I could read and write, so I will be talking in past tence for a bit. I was born quite the normal skunk. Middle of the litter, kept my nose clean and didn't get into trouble. One day I heard this voice in my head telling me I needed to go to this specific spot in the woods and help the human there. Not sure I understood at the time why, but I figured it couldn't hurt to help someone in need. When I went there Mal was quite a wreck, drunk as a well, skunk... Anyway, the voice told me that he was my new master and I should do my best to keep him alive. Oh what a chore that turned out to be. First thing he did was try to use me as a pillow. So I sprayed him. Perfectly acceptable responce if you ask me. Over time Mal and I got accustomed to each other. It wasn't so bad. Then he started experimenting on me. I didn't quite understand at first, but as he used me for his magic I became gradually smarter, and gained some interesting abilities as well. Turns out he was reinventing the wheel as they say. He was recreating the familiar enhancing spells. They worked like a charm, sure, but hardle new and ground breaking magical research. Poor Mal was so confused that the wizarding community more or less just played along like he made a new discovery and rewarded him with a pie. Good pie, too. And so that is how I became an intelligent, writing, magical, flying skunk. But where did he come up with Pepe anyway..? ---- Mal and I have been travelling for some time. It's so frustrating when he goes into one of his other personas. He's hard enough to keep track of when he's him, let alone when he changes his personality on me. Get this, today he decided he was death. Death! He actually believes he is the living personification of death. I suppose this is to make up for the one that 'died' in that fork incident in the pub last week. Not sure how a fork in the hand will kill someone but Ralph certainly was convinced of it. Maybe Death won't be so bad... Oh cripes. He's trying to reap some porcupines. I'd better go and stop him from doing something- oh, too late... ---- Okay, this is very odd. I have wings. Honest to gods wings. I can fly now. How weird is that? Well, I'm going to go play now. Damn squirrels up in their trees are going to get a lesson now. Just thought I should mention wings in this thing. ---- So, Mal overhears someone speaking in a bar about joining the city guard. Oh, he just thinks that's a novel idea! Lucky for me he's not the brightest bulb and decides the city guard recruitment office must be that big building we passed back in the mountains. So tomorow he's going to teleport there and sign up.
