Dryads Lair - Political & Society
The area of Dryads Lair had seen many groups ebb and flow over the centuries. Currently the third Principality of Terraguard and the center of the Kayugan faith Dryads Lair is a tangle of competing interests.
There are several factions in the populace of the city. Some of them are between groups of people that have competing interests and other sources of conflict come from animosities that have built up over time.

Brief Bio: A sort of neutral party who sees buy keeps his head down. He was chosen for his stations due to his fathers trust that he would not offend the priests of the city. Possible different belief system (confirmed) then City norm. Sees Indigo with Admiration and Bravery. Doesn't seem the suck up type.

Facts: His family has been in the city for generations. He is wary of certain religions, however he appreciates honesty. He clearly has a good understanding of the political and social aspects of the area and could prove useful.
- Father Mortin
Status: Religous Leader and Affiliation
Facts: A staunch enquisitionist who dislikes the barbarians and "their false gods" He will not deal with Barbarian ambassadors. He believes that Dryads lair is supreme and it's the only thing that sustains the Gold Hills and Carnak. He likes Branwyn. He is a patronizing man who looks down on those that are different.
Opinion: He could very likely be manipulated by saying the right things. He is a one trick pony. Or, otherwise, a fanatic. If he is pointed at a target that could be "insulting" to his world views, he could prove a useful tool.
- Crandal the Knowledgeable (Party Guest 16)
Status: Court Mage. However, his ultimate allegiance is to the "Great Wizard"
Facts: Soft spoken and carries a big stick. Or rather, a big stick with an eyeball attached to it! WTF
the eyeball functions as a "window" without sound, for the great wizard to see through. Claims he is not part of the Great Wizards inner circle.
Opinion: Could be useful as for communication and spells.

Status: Unknown. However a being of great power and might be vigorously recluse.
Facts: Bare bones: He doesn't really show up at court and is rarely seen. He is either very busy with other matters, or is recluse who does not wish to be seen or heard. He uses others as his means of gathering information. Both as a window to the outside, and uses others as his mouthpiece.

Facts: Kind of Snooty. Not a patron of the arts as she dislikes them. She was made ambassador at the age of 2 as a ploy by her father to avoid suitorship.

Facts: Seeks knowledge of celebrities and reports to father. Seems to like Branwyn. Shows much interest in Imari.
- Dame Colonto
Status: Recently made member of city council.
Facts: Has a security detail that stays close. She calls them "Allies" but what that means, anyone knows. Rose to prominence through adventuring. She is Ostricized by "old" wealth and nobility.\\
Opinions: She seems to have a very high opinion of herself. She prefaces her actions by holding out her hand to be kissed. Lisa, if your reading this, the next time you try to kiss her hand, I will cut it off first.

Facts: Gruff and not an easy talker. He is distantly polite.
Opinion: Its as if he is a great scientist in the middle of uneducated peasantry and he is spinning his mental wheels trying to acclimate to the sudden change of dumber people.

Facts: Call girls? BDSM Enthusiasm, Really Really wanted to jump Indigo's bones. Dodged all attempts to give true identity or how the heck they even got into this party.
