Man in Red Cloak
This is the only name that the Dragonslayers Company Detached could use to describe a person who kept reappearing on the edges of the Jistille Estates. They first encountered him when he was working a deal with a group of goblins to sell them some slaves. The group rescued Indigo from him. Later on he created a problem for a local farmer by creating a magical Scarecrow that attacked the farmer's livestock.
Several months later the group was approached by the Order of Brotherhood Paladin group in Drillian to investigate a church where a suspected Necromancer had taken over. During their investigation into the Skull Church the group encountered him again.
It has not been confirmed, but Hoffman and The Hand was hired by a similar Man in Red Cloak. Hoffman ended up be captured and sold along with the Dragonslayers during the Ophioglossum story.
A couple of years later the group had a surprise encounter with him when he appeared at a meeting with Toybin of Castlin and Anastasia Eustace to tell the Dragonslayers about the kidnapping of Willimina Mosskin during the With Friends Like These adventure.
Update as of the ending of Long Live The King:
- The Man in the Red Cloak is revealed to be Toybin's twin brother, and married (separated?) from Aunt Jennevive, cleric of Brennios and new Religious Advisor to the Queen. His name has not been revealed, but even Jennevive just called him 'Red'.
