The High Desert

note: this is not the same location as the high desert that is part of Zakhara

In the central section of the Great Mountains where the Great Saint Bernard Pass crosses there is a large desert area called 'the high desert' by communities on both sides of the mountains. The desert stretches south from there and there are several small communities scattered through the desert and surrounding mountains reaches. This is one of the few areas in the world where the rare Yellow Dragon is found.
