MadamePsychosis: it doesn't cost anything - just have to say you spend 30 minutes setting up and concentrating and then you roll for it

MadamePsychosis: is it fun for you guys to have the combats go all night? I am curious

GM: chuckles, remember this is Lemon's and Carissa's game at the moment, Lisa has powerful characters.... back home.... so the key people leading the action are Lemon and Carissa, with Michael and Lorie helping out

seyfert (Thistle): It actually worked out well for me last Friday. Normally I like more mix, but it kept me awake so no complains for that one, at least.

seyfert (Thistle): Do we need to set our RP watches partners?

GM: You should Carissa

LemonyLemon (Bixi Fizzlebang): Yeah, so like, before in the giant fortress he kept being like "are you SURE you want to go that way?" and that was totally sending us in the wrong direction. So this time he was like, "maybe the scarecrow is magical" so I was like, "HA, I AM ON TO YOUR MISDIRECTION!" But apparently that was wrong.

seyfert (Thistle): Bixi, Rae, Thistle, Indigo, Howard, Yout....

Bixi Fizzlebang: So all I can say is BOB, if you expect me to listen to your characters, you need to stop being misleading

MadamePsychosis: howard had already said it was a normal scarecrow but no one listens to Howard

LemonyLemon (Bixi Fizzlebang): But yeah, normally I get bored with combat that long because Bixi doesn't usually get to do stuff, but I did enjoy summoning the bugs, didn't feel as long as it was since I was able to get more involved

LemonyLemon (Bixi Fizzlebang): HOWEVER, I'm going to tell you right now that the "blah blah pay attention quit walking through walls" is NOT going to happen until there's a different lighting system, because I literally can't see doors until I'm right on top of them or the other room is lit up from someone else or something

seyfert (Thistle): Yeah admittedly it's harder with characters less combat oriented to do combat.

seyfert (Thistle): Agree

GM: That is ok Lemon, just ask "What do I see"

GM: Before moving so I can make sure you understand the options

GM: I am trying to make the maps better and better

LemonyLemon (Bixi Fizzlebang): That sounds like it's definitely not a way to save time

LemonyLemon (Bixi Fizzlebang): Also, how am I supposed to know when I don't know that I'm not seeing something?

GM: I am not worried about saving time as much as trying to make sure everyone knows what is happening

LemonyLemon (Bixi Fizzlebang): Fair, but my second question remains

GM: It takes more time for characters to stop at walls, then have to redo moves, etc. than asking up front and then making choices

LemonyLemon (Bixi Fizzlebang): Yeah, but if I'm walking through a wall it means I didn't realize it was a wall

GM: exactly

LemonyLemon (Bixi Fizzlebang): I wouldn't know to ask

LemonyLemon (Bixi Fizzlebang): Unless you want me to ask every time before I move "where are the walls here"

GM: If you look and it is all dark and you just move way across the map, expect your movement to be stopped several times

GM: especially when you are in buildings, etc.

LemonyLemon (Bixi Fizzlebang): Also sometimes I get stuck on the corner of a door, and double also sometimes when I move to one place and then the other, it just draws it as one long arrow even if that wasn't my intention

GM: Last week several people moved through what they KNEW were walls

GM: being lazy and just dragging from the left to the right side of the map and I had to reset things again and again

LemonyLemon (Bixi Fizzlebang): Can we practice moving somewhere so I can see how to do more than one arrow?

GM: that is next week

GM: This week is the CT and roleplay and introducing Marco

LemonyLemon (Bixi Fizzlebang): Well ok then

Raelynn: No, it gives you time to focus on other skills because you do not have to worry about it.

Raelynn: There is no wrong way but neither is one better than the other.

Akilah bint-Fahkr al Hiyal: I am not saying magic is wrong, it is just lazy.
