seyfert: Yeah I thought of that earlier but not sure I like that we're on water. Think Lisa agreed on being careful with that

LemonyLemon (Bixi Fizzlebang): Yeah, I'm hesitant to use any lighting while we're also surrounded by the water we're casting it on

seyfert: But again, even if it's some way to hold the slug back or push the boat away.

GM: I did sort of like (from me being a player point of view) the idea Carissa floated about solidifying the mass of weeds so someone can go out onto it and fight it from a different angle than only on the ship

GM: The spell creates a hovering, ghostly image of a hand about one foot high. The caster can command it to locate a character or creature of the caster's choice based on a physical description. The caster can specify race, sex, and appearance, but not ambiguous factors such as level, alignment, or class.

Talwin: The point of this is to slow the ship until it is managable, not necesasrily anchor it

Talwin: As we slow down, the towed ship will catch up at a small pace. We'll hop over and grab it's anchor, then hop back over. It's not idea, but the barrel trick will work. The holes in it will cause it to fill with water and create drag before finally becoming waterlogged. It's not the best option, but ti's wahtw e have. Grab a few of those metal blades from our pirate battle. Dump them in. It might help

Talwin: We can also use rocks or something else heavy, but not sure the ship will have rocks on board
