Barbarian North

This is the term that the people living in Terraguard use to refer to the region north of Blackmorn. It is also used as a derogatory term by some in Southern Terraguard for those who live north of Terraguard City.

The residents of Terraguard have reason to fear the hordes of barbarians that sweep down from the north and lay waste to the many small villages and towns. The comparative wealth of this area compared to the bleaker climes of the north always attracts raiders to take and retreat.

To the west of Terraguard the southern border of the Barbarian North is often considered the Wildlands that lay south of the Gelion River.
