Northern Wastes

Also called the barbarian north by the people living in Terraguard this area encircles the northern pole. It contains large expanses of open tundra, seas that are frozen over part of the year like the Yal Tengri, and a variety of settlements by several races.

The Land of Snow Demons, a little explored expanse of permafrost tundra is part of what some in the warmer, southern Oriental Lands call the Northern Wastes. In this area the Ama Basin is the southern edge of the Northern Wastes.
