Castle Hoarbrite

Perched on a cliff above the Hoarbrite Pass is the Castle Hoarbrite. The Castle is the meeting place for the Grand Conclave of mercenary unit leaders. There is a small town on the floor of the pass below the castle that goes by the name of North Hoarbrite. This grew from a sarcastic mention that south Hoarbrite is the dungeons that are inside of the cliffs the castle is built on.

The Castle is run by a family who call themselves the Rectors of the Castle. They maintain the grounds for the mercenary unit leaders who are generally supportive of the family and their service through the years. The Castle is far more extensive than needed by any one family and in the past has been used a a place of refuge during extreme situations.
