Crusade
One of the most contentious activities that a population can go through is a Crusade. A Crusade is a military attack lead by one religion against the property and locations of another religion.
There have been several Crusades in the Western World that have been very destructive between the Kayugan and Greek churches and Crusades between the Druids of the Central Area with multiple religions of the Western World joining forces against them. There are two Crusades of note from the Oriental Lands. The attacks by Druids in the Central Area against Mages are not considered Crusades but a pogrom against a way of life.
Some of the notable Crusades in history:
581 SLR {-758 TGR} - [Shou/Tu] First Emperor Chin of the Ho Dynasty proclaims the "Organization of Thought," in which he seeks to make the Path of Enlightenment the only faith of Shou Lung. The Time of Contentions begins, as rival faiths battle each other in the bureaucracy, among the populace, and finally on battlefield as temple militias contest in small civil wars. In T'u Lung?, the establishment of rival faiths and temples leads to some of the bloodiest fighting.
630 SLR {-709 TGR} - [Shou] The first Emperor Chin perishes mysteriously, along with his son. The grandson becomes the second Emperor Chin and announces "The Time of Sharing Meals." Temple militias are outlawed and religious freedom encouraged. The Path of Enlightenment remains the official religion.

825 TGR Kayugan armies invade Greek territories in Terraguard in the first Terraguard crusade
903 TGR 366 CER combined armies of Greek and Norse believers attack Wolfspack to drive out the Druids
371 CER 1 WPR 908 TGR re-sanctifying of the Celtic Temple in Wolfspack
1132 TGR Kayugan armies invade Greek territories in Terraguard in the second Terraguard Crusade
1194 TGR 286 WPR Terraguard besieges Wolfspack for a fourth time {historians debate if this was a Crusade against the Celtic religion or a war of aggression against Wolfspack}
