Octavia McFee
Octavia goes by many alias' depending on where she travels. Octavia grew up in Hallstatt on the shores of Gbor Nor in a family of fishermen. She would sing as she repaired the families nets, and caught the attention of a traveling bard when she was still young.
Leslie Ovats was part of an adventuring company that traveled widely through the known world. Octavia soon learned to live by her wits and to work both sides of the law as she needed to. She traveled with her group from the Island Kingdoms in the far south and along the Great Trade Route where she learned the ways of trade. Octavia left the group to live with gypsies that traveled the Silk Road when she wanted to strike out on her own. It was there that she perfected her methods of disguise and learned new musical spells.
Being rebuffed in her affections for an orange haired gypsy mage she left the clan and rejoined her old adventuring group. A couple of years later when they had an elaborate plan to pull off Octavia knew just who to involve in her schemes.
When Octavia was caught by the Dragonslayers during the ending of the Magic of Music story she related how she was working for her liege Celsus, and his companion the "dark skinned man" {Meleager the Lion}. She told the Dragonslayers they could find him in Khazefryn a retched hive of villainy and scum that was under the Mountains of Copper.
The group questioned Octavia closely and then kept her captive at Roadhaven.
After questioning her further, she really wants Meleager dead. Oct 16 09 Hans
