Ant's father asks him and val to get a goblet from a red dragon fyraniddik.

The goblet is an artifact of sahanine moonbow. the temple is located in drawnquill. Easiest to meet in hillshire haven (halfling town) then walk into the woods to drawnquill. (GTR-North) it was traditionally used by the church to drink a draught during important shared trance states. it was lost centuries before from the temple under mysterious circumstances. a drow stole it and gave it to a red dragon in return for a holy item of lloth the dragon possessed.

ant's father knows the high priestess of sahanine. her clerics found out the location of the goblet. thinking that the gold dragon could help deal with the red one, she asked for his help. unfortunately, he also knows the red dragon and has a nonagression pact with him. so as a way to help the priestess and keep his pact, he wants ant and val to get the goblet, and they cannot harm the dragon, steal anything else, and must try to do minimal damage.

cordrawn hills is where the dragon lives (western world, wild areas). the cordrawn hills are a wild area on terraguard's western border. it serves as a stop to their expansion in that area. it is also in the middle of the rivers and an important port town, which means that rousing the anger of the dragon must be avoided at all cost or the whole area's economic future could be in jeapardy.

Anterias will direct the group to meet them in Hillshire Haven. Val will be shadowing the group from hiding. From there, Anterias will introduce them to the elf Llennye (can be played by Bob). Llennye will guide the group to Drawnquill and bring them to the temple to meet the high priestess Gwyndallarain (Gwyn). Gwyn explains the situation with the dragon. If pressed why he's doing this Ant will answer because his father needs him to do it. Gwyn will know roughly where the dragon's lair is. She will know the ridge of hills his cave is in, but can't be exact because it is protected from scrying. Will suggest the group teleports close to the ridge and explore on foot from there. Llennye will go with them. Anterias cannot go with them because he is an enemy dragon's half breed and the red will smell him out and not want to cooperate. Val will continue to shadow the group. When group pops into area, they will explore some, run into monsters to be determined and then find the cave.

Inside the cave the group will walk through a few rooms with traps. One trap can be sprung with a dead critter in it at some point. They will encounter some guards along the way. Guardians will be able to be dealt with in some non violent way or other. Each guard the group kills will increase the dragon's ire at them when they do finally face him.

If the group faces the dragon by peacefully bypassing all the guardians he will be more curious than mad. He will be willing to trade the goblet for a different elven artwork that is five times the value of the goblet. He will come up with that value because the religious significance of the goblet will make it worth more.

If the group kills up to half the guards the dragon will not be happy and will demand a magic item of the group of some worth, will not accept random trinket. He will also accept a group member as sacrifice for the goblet. He will not tell the group what he will do with the member, but he will kill and raise as an undead servant. He will accept any being for this job, so can be a follower as well.

If the group kills more than half the guards the dragon will only accept one person per guard killed plus a magic item of some worth for his troubles.

After this, if the group manages to steal the item, he will go after the dragon slayers with a vengeance. He will send drow assassins to go after the ds'ers at home, and to pillage their magic library, etc. He will warn them of this.

If the group fails, Val will attempt to use the group as a diversion to steal the goblet herself, and the dragon will assume the ds'ers did it.
