Disease
Diseases are a common occurrence that will come up. From simple things like a wasting disease caught from infected bites in the Great Swamp to debilitating rabies outbreaks there is a wide range of complications. Many diseases can be cured by a Paladin's laying of hands or a Priest casting of a Cure Disease spell. Others are more deadly like the Grey Death that causes terror in the populace.
