East Shire
The East Shire encompasses the Woody End stretch of woods and four settlements. This Shire has its Mayors Seat at Bywater on the Big River {the Velikaya River} and is connected to Michel Delving by the Greenway running through Needlehole. Bound on the east and south by the Big River and prone to flooding the East Shire has large stretches of agricultural lands. To the southwest is the Dark Shire where most of the problems that the Sheriff has to deal with emerge. In the northeast the hamlet of Undertowers has a relationship with a family of silver dragons that hunt the Bindbole Wood, river traffic and the occasional bit of cattle or sheep from the farms along the Big River.
